I finished the first Landscapes (Knit Picks) sock last night, and cast on the second sock. But I found out that I can't take it with me to Jury Duty. "No sharp pointed objects!" is what they told me, but I am going to try to get in with my cotton/wool blend ruana on Denise circs, and see what happens. DH will be there, ready to take it home with him if they won't let me take my PLASTIC needles in with me. How silly is that? They worry about plastic knitting needles, but you can take a metal crochet hook in with you--yup, that's what they said! Oh well, I'll get #2 done and post both soon, and if necessary I'll just read and listen to music tomorrow--unless they decide that books and MP3 players are dangerous.
