I spent more than an hour on Saturday afternoon seaming the back of the just finished wrap. Isn't that seam beautiful? I hate seaming but it wasn't too bad since I had a Pepsi, a bowl of pretzels and cashews, and was watching a Syfy movie. I could almost say it was enjoyable--right up to the minute I discovered I had sewed the two front pieces together rather than the back. The WHOLE front!!
I've made more than my share of dumb knitting errors? I think it is because I am always in a hurry. I too often do things flat out, 0 to 60, and clearly without thinking them through. So, I have folded the wrap and set it aside for a few days until I can face my faux pas with a clear head.
Let's move along to the Downtown Bonnet. All done and waiting for I-Cord ties. I will finish it before going back to you know what.
Then there is Lace Cardi in white organic cotton. This is a Wendy Johnson pattern and I am enjoying it. This type of sweater is relaxing to knit because it is done one small piece at a time and seamed together, but the way things are going I will have the right sleeve attached to the neck and the left sleeve hanging like a tail in back. I think I need a nap....
Anyway, life is good!

Beautiful knits!
And... hem... There's probably a reason you love JRTs. They're usually wide open or "off" too. ;)
Oh my goodness.... I also hate seaming and was thinking that how you approached it sounded like a good way to make the task less onerous :((( Sorry for the mishap and putting it aside for a few days is a great idea ~ Was the SyFy movie any good? I almost hate to ask - LOL
Love the downtown bonnet ~ that will be very sweet!
You are right Chan! The moment I looked into Macy's eyes I knew we were the same kind of "people."
Hi Simcha's Mom,
The SyFy movie was just so-so. I guess some days are like that and we accept it and go on! At least Downtown Bonnet turned out well.
