Changes

Over the last few months my life has been full of changes.  Some good and some not so good.  I choose to dwell on the good.   Add to the juicing, we are eating a healthier diet and enjoying the energy from fruit and vegetable juice and good protein.  I am still without the Coke monster—drinking only water but about to embark on an experiment in decaffeinated organic teas.
Sugar is still my nemesis but I’m trying.  There are certain things that just cry out for sugar like a lovely apple cobbler which goes unnoticed until the powdered sugar and lemon juice icing is spread over it.
Then a piece is instantly missing—courtesy of DH who was taste testing.
Two nights ago I made a black bean pizza and it was super delicious, if I do say so myself.  Simply mash a can of black beans with Worcestershire, salt and pepper, jalapenos, and a tablespoon of barbeque sauce.  Spread it over the dough, top with sauce and add grated cheese.  It was so well received that I will certainly be making it again in the near future.

As for knitting changes, the Blanket Sweater is continuing and this is the first time in many years that I have been knitting monogamous.  I am currently 7 rows from starting the body and happily moving along.
Army grandson has moved his family to Savannah, Georgia where he is currently stationed.  They are missed by grandma and grandpa in Chicago but g-grandma is sort of enjoying all of the pictures of Miss Adelyn exploring the new “haunts” (quite literally since the house four doors down from them is said to be the most haunted house in Savannah).

She is going to be a southern belle the next time I see her!
The weather is gorgeous.  Even Max can be found sunning with Macy.  Some prefer the walkway to the grass!
Life is good.
