Many Happy Years!

Today I have been married to my best friend for 53 years!  A boy who I grew up with, sat across the aisle from in grade school, played sand lot football and hide and seek with during long hot Arizona summers, and dated in high school, became a man destined to live with and love little old me—forever!  How did I get to be so lucky?  Then, THEN, wonder of wonders, we brought six wonderful children into the world and worked hard together to see them through the good, the bad, and the everyday of growing up to be responsible adults.  Even more amazing, they still love us and love being with us and with each other.  I can tell you with absolute certainty that it does not get any better than this!!
The hand pain has been helped by the elastic crafting gloves, but the pain in my arm has localized in the upper left arm.  Moving my arm is so painful that no knitting has been done.  I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and maybe he can do something so I can get back to the mitts that will be mittens (with the little finger covers).  Healing thoughts and prayers will be much appreciated!
For lack of anything else to say I am sharing my new phone and eyeglasses holder.  I always have so many files on my desk that I when I put on my computer glasses I lose my regular glasses—and my phone.  It can usually be heard ringing under a stack of files and papers.  This way glasses and phone are corralled.  Now if I can just remember to take them with me when I leave the office.

Life is really, really good!!

Happy Anniversary! I love to hear about lasting marriages, especially when the couples were childhood friends. May you and the love of your life enjoy many more years together.

Glad the crafting gloves helped to ease some of the pain. I hope your doctor can help you find the cause of your arm pain.

A very happy anniversary to you and here's to many, MANY more.

Love the new holder. So cute!!

I hope the doctor can identify and correct the arm pain. I know mine comes from my fall on Saturday. The worst is DEEP in my arm, on the underside... weird.
