Sabbatical

I am sad to report that I am considering a time out from blogging.  It seems that work and life are seriously restricting my blog posting/picture taking time.  I am involved in a couple of big projects at work, DH has a minor health issue for us to deal with, and knitting has been greatly reduced by the slow healing of my arm pain.

I realized today, when returning home after a day of running flat out, that the blog post I had been working on for a week was only half finished on my still open laptop.  I don’t even remember what happened that called me away in the middle of it.  When I sat down to finish it I saw that it was the same thing I have been writing over and over and over for the last few months—the new baby, the pups, the garden, and very little knitting.

I can’t imagine not continuing to communicate with my beloved blogging buddies, so I intend to do so by continuing to comment at each of your sites and by email (and Twitter?).  So I promise it will be for only a while.  I will be back at the Comfort Zone with news of knitting, the pups, and maybe I will be able to share ways to relax when life throws you a curve ball or two—if I can figure that out!

Hugs and kisses to all of you who I love so much.  I will be hanging out at your blogs, thinking of each of you and praying for all of you!!

Much love,
Katherine

It's okay to take a break and take care of yourself, your husband, and the pups. Your readers will be here when you are ready to begin again.

Get some rest, recuperate, and knit if you have time.

Are we following each other on Twitter? I never tweet... or at least, only do so sporadically. I just don't get it!

But I'm a little confused as to why you think updating us on the grands, the pups and your knitting is boring? (Gasp... minus the grands, that's my blog, with even less knitting progress.)
