Great Stuff

I truly enjoyed pawing through the goody envelope from Kathyb’s swap which is a cut above!  I have been involved in here and there swaps over nearly 10 years.  Most are great fun, and a few are surprisingly pleasurable like this all-in-an-envelope swap.  I took a gamble on the mystery gift and loved it!  It was one of Kathy’s own note cards for a special communication.  I also grabbed the fawn and white (Macy colors) for a new winter hat for me, me, me.  I hope Chan enjoys the things I added and the simplicity of the envelope mailing as much as I did.  As I said last post….  Best. Swap. Ever.
I’m still juicing—no not that kind of juicing.  I don’t do enough exercise to be tempted by performance drugs.  I have, on the other hand, considered the possibility that accounting data entry would go a lot faster if I juiced with something other than fruit or vegetable juice!  Today’s juice was apple, mango, strawberry, kiwi and lime.  Yummy and so refreshing.  On tomorrow’s juice menu is tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and celery.

The purple fingerless mitts are finished and I am enjoying knitting a pair in green sparkle Simply Soft.  The sparkles are so pretty and I’m thinking this pair of mitts need to stay with me.  I’m afraid this yarn was a close out and I may never find it again.

Doggy blog time:  Macy and Max are working hard in the office today.  Macy is a quiet pup and prefers to sleep in the sun.
Max is a little dog with a big mouth for barking and talking.  (We are trying to teach him not to sleep with a cookie in his mouth).
Their routine is a bit distracting but I’m just happy that they are entertaining themselves so I can finish and get to my knitting and juice!!

Life is good.

I agree the Fall Swap was fun, and I would do it again in the blink of an eye.

Love your haul - the yarn is such a yummy color.

I don't juice but one of my friends does, and she loves it - especially veggies.

You are so sweet Katherine. I'm thrilled you loved the yarn and kept it for YOU.
Your fingerless are great. I really love when my fingerless have a thumb to them. IF they don't they tend to fall down or pull up. THe thumb secures them.
Hi Macy honey!

What pretty goodies from the swap!

Gg is mouthy today. They are replacing the guardrail across from the shop, and she doesn't like it, not one bit. Sis is being her usual non-pulsed self, except when Uncle and Dadaw are in the office. Then, she's demanding and begging!
