Can't Complain

Aren't you glad!!  I can't find anything to complain about this week!!  I can't even think of any dumb knitting questions to ask or wild ramblings to bore you with.  I'm cool!  I'm chillin'.  Just tending to my knitting.

It's so strange because I can usually find something that I consider a BIG problem or something that leads readers down the garden path of what-to-do.  Nope--not this time.  The week has sailed by with FO's, swap goodies, fun with the dogs, lunch with daughter and daughter-in-law.  Now I'm getting worried.  Waiting for the other shoe to drop.  Looking that big ole gift horse in the mouth.

While I am still ahead of the game I will show you my swap goodies.  Thanks to Barb, who is blogless at this time but should be encouraged to start a blog.  If she is as good at blogging at she is at swap boxes I think her blog will become very popular.  I have been wandering around all week, urging people to "Look in my cup."  It has a black cat on the handle and a pumpkin in the bottom.  I will not tell you how many times I have forgotten the pumpkin and thought there was something in my coffee!

Anyway, thanks Barb for the wonderful gifties!!  I thought socks when I saw the Regia and Jawoll because I need to knit socks for winter.  But now I keep looking at your beautiful yarn and thinking it would be perfect as a round Pi shawl with the Jawoll in the middle and the Regia on the edges.  Yup--I think that's it!!  Love the scarf patterns too and will certainly knit some for Christmas gifts.

Also, happy happy over the Pretty In Pink wrap, which I am now calling the PIP wrap because I didn't make it in pink.  It is finished, correctly seamed, and I love it.  I have worn it twice already and think it will be my favorite fall piece!

While all this happy stuff is going on Macy is happily chasing a squirrel in the backyard.  There is one squirrel that seems to like taunting her and loves the chase.  Macy can't get enough of it!!

Life is happily good!

Thank you for your lovely comments on the swap box items. It was great fun picking out the yarns and patterns, and I'm so glad you'll enjoy using them.

Hugs,
Barbara (wishfulbarbara)

A beautiful wrap! I love the pattern. Looks like 1 big piece seamed on the sides.
