I will not waste much time on bad
news because the good news is so good it deserves to shine alone. So, except to say that “It’s still tax season!!!”
I will get on with the good stuff!
Granddaughter’s surgery went well and
at the moment she is free of pain for the first time in six months. We are praying that it is a permanent fix and
looking forward to her getting back to being the happy, energetic girl she has
always been! Now that the worst seems to
be over I feel like I have a weight lifted from my shoulders and everything
seems easier. Thanks so much to all of
you for your prayers and healing thoughts.
We felt your love!!
I have started the Berry Tart Hat—that is to say I have started the pie pan and making a point of enjoying
every minute of it since the berries are difficult and time consuming. Also still working on the green Peapod (baby
snuggle sack) which will eventually have a hat to match. Time is at a premium and the work load is the
same as most years, but we seem to be moving in a more efficient path than
usual. I have only had to haul out the
lion-taming chair and whip a couple of times.
Macy and Max have been good little fur-people
while we have been spending lo-o-o-o-ng hours away. Macy loves to snooze in my lap while I work,
and Max, as always, is good time
Charlie and wants to play at the most inopportune times! Still, we could not work/live/exist without
them and, as I said, they are good babies!!
I’m hoping to be able to post more
often (please don’t anyone count the number of times I’ve said that!) and share
some new recipes as well as the Peapod pattern when it is written. Moving along….
Life is good!! (How could anything be wrong with a world where the Red-winged Blackbirds come for breakfast?)

will pray that your granddaughter's health continues to excel!!!
Love to watch the progress of your knitting
Hooray. SO happy she is finally pain free.
I cannot wait to see your knit ups as they go along.
The pea pod snuggle is your own design? Fantastic! I am eager to see its progress.
Your fur-people are adorable and look like a lot of fun.
