And What A Day It Was!

We celebrated Nurse DD’s birthday yesterday and when our family gets together it is a wing-ding party!!  Don’t you love family gatherings like that?  I enjoy reading about all my blogging buddies’ family gatherings at Christmas and other holidays and events!!  It calms my heart to know that families still get together and, as we say in Texas, “love on each other.”

We watched the game.  (You know which game!!!!)

We ate cake.  Victorian Lace--good cake!

We killed a bottle of this (and ordered a bunch more).

We talked to Colby.  Colby is not well and had just come from the vet.  He had to tell each of us all about it!  Colby is a big talker for a cat!!

I did a little knitting during the game.

We checked out the pool in January.  Just checked it out, didn't swim in it!  We're not that crazy.

Yes indeed it was a day to load up on joy, hugs, kisses, and just generally immerse myself in love.  I wish the same for all of you!!

Life is good.
